A couple of weeks ago we went from this…
to this.. I am happy to say it still looks good – just a few more photos on the surface to keep the clutter away.
So the surface is beautiful, now to tackle the drawers! I am SO inspired by Organizing Junkie’s CONTAINERIZING ideas.
I didn’t know we had them here is SA – but yes! – around R3-R5 each at the plastics shop!
I got so inspired that I didn’t take a before photo – just picture all the stuff here put all in the draw together and slowly mixed up over time – lots of digging for things, things falling through the back of the draw, etc.
We dumped everything out of a drawer into a box, had great fun doing the basket puzzle (fitting in all the little baskets that we could and then carefully packing the stuff back in the right places and throwing away the junk.
SORTED!!
Here we have the top drawer… chore cards, timeline figures, card games and flashcards, birthday supplies box, game tokens, etc.
The middle drawer (stuff for entertaining – don’t you love the serviette ring basket!)
The bottom drawer (pens, highlighters, permanent markers, staplers and staples, etc. all in their own little baskets! Wonderful!
Yay! no more digging.

You’re the inspiration!!
It looks great and your enthusiasm is contagious. I think I may just need to go clean some drawers, too.
